Points to take note of when learning to play Warm And Windy
1 - String bending at some portions of the song might not be easy
for newer guitar players. This is due to a lack of finger strength in their hands. What I would advice you to do
here is that yourcould get some assistance by using a slight rotation of the hand and arm or by placing more
fingers behind the behind to "lend" strength to the bending.
2 - Use of thumbpicks. I have a common feedback from many guitarists that using a thumbpick isn't
easy because they had been playing with picks for years. In country and blues finger picking, the right hand is
trained for finger independence when you perform this technique. It helps you develop skills to be a better overall
guitar player.
3 - Once you are familiar with the song, there is always room for creativity. I highly encourage
you to try different tweaks and spontaneous improvisation when you are confident of playing the song. This allows
you to show your flair as well as imbue your own ideas into the song.
