Guitar techniques are skills that guitarists use in playing the guitar. Have you ever heard how Steve Vai makes

Different guitar techniques are used in different styles of music. For example, classical musicians use
extensive finger plucking whereas heavy rock musicians often apply string bending in solos. In the guitar technique
lessons on GuitarPlayerWorld.com, we hope to cover as wide a range of techniques as possible to aid you in becoming
a complete guitarist.
Since I am personally a rock guitar fan, most of the guitar technique lessons that I have written would
tend towards rock guitar playing. However, this does not mean that the guitar techniques learnt here cannot be
applied to other genres of music.
These comprehensive guitar lessons will focus on illustrating basic techniques and tricks
employed by professional guitarists and can be tailored to suit different styles and tastes.
Now, learning guitar techniques is NOT easy.
There are a lot of sources out there that claim you’ll be able to play at 200bpm in one week or
effortlessly learn guitar techniques such as tapping. The truth is, it takes time and discipline to gain excellent
guitar techniques. Always stay focused to a practice plan and keep sight of your goals and what you want to
acheive.
