Our Review of Doug Marks's Metal Method Dvd Course 

We found the lessons to be very professional and well structured. It’s simply amazing how Doug Marks arranges each lesson with a logical, step-by-step format such that the student will never feel lost. On top of that, Doug Marks is able to inspire and motivate the student through his style of teaching.

The video lessons in the DVDs are extremely well produced. Guitar exercises are played at different tempos to enable the student to fully understand and visualize how difficult guitar riffs could be easily learnt. Precise close up camera views of the fretting hand and animated guitar tab enables the student to see and hear each note as they are being played. We personally found this to be particularly useful for playing along with the DVD lessons.

What we really liked about this course is that the different aspects of guitar playing are taught while playing to catchy melodies and guitar riffs of all time. This injected a lot of fun and excitement while enabling the complete beginner guitarist to play the guitar almost instantly!

In a nutshell, the qualiy of the lessons on Metal Method are a clear WINNER!

There are also some additional files available for those who have a computer with a DVD drive. These files include useful printable guitar tablature, animated play along guitar tab and a complete guitar lesson overview.
