Guitar Burning Speed
Review
“Learn to play like Eddie Van Halen in just two weeks!” Any site
that proclaims such a statement is leaving itself open for heavy scrutiny. More than anything, it can catch
the eye of a less knowledgeable consumer and wind them up with a bad deal.
But before we can totally blow out Guitar Burning Speed, we should consider that maybe the site founders
have actually stumbled upon some secret guitar Zen that will allow players to quadruple their talent in a hundredth
of the time.
In our Guitar Burning Speed review, we will discuss whether or not Guitar Burning Speed makes true on its
promise of two weeks to guitar stardom.
So what is included in this program?
An eBook, accompanying audio files, five blues
jam tracks, and a hundred and one MIDI drum tracks. Oh, and the aforementioned
promise to teach you how to play like Eddie Van Halen in only two weeks, as well.
First off, the eBook. The eBook is basically a glorified practice regimen containing basic
exercises that are meant to increase finger strength and speed. Note that I didn’t say it includes
practice licks, picking techniques, or any sort of instructional material. That’s because it doesn’t. The
accompanying audio files are of very poor quality, almost as if they were recorded in a
closet using a microphone. This means most of you audio learners are out of luck as far as learning by ear
goes.
The five blues jam tracks are actually the highlight of the entire
program, as they are fairly decent and provide a great backing for some improvisation. However, you
don’t actually learn any techniques with which to improvise in the program, so if you are a
beginner, the tracks are basically useless. If you have a moderate knowledge of playing, you will be better
off. However, this is counterpoint to the fact that the program is aimed at beginners.
While having a hundred and one drum tracks sounds nice, most of them are poorly constructed and clearly
written by an amateur drummer, or at the very least someone who has very little knowledge of drumming. Basically,
you will find yourself struggling to make much of anything out of them, which is a bit disappointing as they could
have made a fine selling point.
All in all, the conclusion of our Guitar Burning Speed review is that the product is a
flop. The product would have been a fairly decent add on to your practice regimen had it not been
touted as a one track course to make you a guitar god in fourteen days’ time. However, the falling point is that
the creators spent more time fluffing up their site to catch the unknowing eye rather than adding quality material
to their program.
The bottom line is, if you don’t mind spending twenty dollars for a basic practice routine, then this
program will be a perfect addition to your playing regimen. However, if you don’t believe a basic practice routine
is worth twenty dollars (and most of us don’t) then you’d be best off passing up on this one.

Review of Guitar Burning Speed - It's a Scam
The Guitar Burning Speed website claims that if you follow the provided lessons inside the
members section for twenty minutes a day for two weeks, you’ll be able to drastically improve your
guitar playing speed. Of course, if you spend twenty minutes a day for two weeks trying to play
faster without buying the Guitar Burning Speed pack, you’ll probably still improve. So is it worth
shelling out the money for this particular package?
Summary
Guitar Burning Speed doesn’t offer an overall guide to playing guitar. Instead, it targets
simply on speed by providing a short workout lesson that is designed to
Upon purchasing Guitar Burning Speed you won’t be taken to a lesson website. You’ll simply be
given a download link to receive a book, a bunch of audio files and a number of bonus products.
At $19.95, Guitar Burning Speed is one of the cheaper guitar lessons out on the online
market.
Drawbacks
Here’s the biggest drawback, and it’s a doozy: Guitar Burning Speed claims to offer a bundle of
bonus features, up to the value of $205. By the looks of things, the value is probably closer to
$5, if that. Thing is, each of the bonuses they offer are actually available for free from other
places on the internet.
I don’t just mean that they’ve remade a product under a new brand name. They actually give you
freeware programs such as Fretboard Warrior completely unchanged. You can go to the Fretboard
Warrior site right now and get the program at no cost!
The only thing actually made as an extra is a short document titled “Learn Every Not on the
Guitar Fretboard in 15 Minutes”, which doesn’t come through on the promise of its title.
There’s also a series of 101 Midi drum tracks that are given as a bonus. I’m not sure if these
are available free somewhere else or not, but the fact is that they’re so terrible you could easily
find better ones at no cost.
So what about the guide itself? There are a fair number of drawbacks here as well.
First off, there’s the design. This is one gross looking book, even for a pdf! It looks cheap
and thrown together, probably because it is. The writing is also pretty poor. You get the feeling
that someone has hired a kid in his parents based to make this book for a few dollars, and is now
hoping to make big bucks selling it online. When there are so many decent quality guitar websites
out there, it’s a shame that people are spending money on something like this.
The content itself is also a disappointment. Only very simple exercises are given that can be
easily found elsewhere on the internet for free. Playing on the 1-2-3-4 frets up and down the
string as fast as you can will undoubtedly improve your guitar playing speed, but do you really
need to pay twenty bucks for someone to tell you that?
Conclusion
There’s a reason why Guitar Burning Speed is one of the cheapest online lessons you can get.
From everything I’ve seen on the site and in the downloadable files, I’m not sure if there’s a
single piece of knowledge on offer that isn’t already available for free somewhere else, at a
higher level of quality.
I’m sorry to say it, but this is one you really want to stay away from.
