* Beginners TAKE NOTE *
It is NECESSARY to read through the lessons in this section in order to gain a
foundation for much more advanced and complex concepts. And if you think you can simply skip this part and jump
into more advanced lessons, you WILL kill yourself without the proper foundation.
I would also suggest you download a copy of Guitar Pro 6 as it will make practising the exercises easier. For
advanced players and people who prefer video lessons, you should check out the video guitar lessons here or our intermediate guitar lessons section.
A word of advice is to work at your own pace and not rush through the lessons until you fully understand each
one of them. I also want to stress to you the importance of clearing any doubts straight away once you encounter
them.
Heed this advice as I was once a beginner guitar player who was struggling to learn the basics of playing the
guitar.I was simply trying to cramp and learn too much stuff at the same time and thus never really tried to
tackled the questions or doubts that I had. I also jumped around learning different things when I encounter
problems in playing the guitar.
As a result, this had not only lengthened my learning curve but also resulted in alot of frustration through my
early days of learning guitar when I was a beginner.
We hope that you find this to be a very useful place for you to look for answers and if you encounter any
problems while playing the guitar, feel free to drop us an email. Also, we would
appreciate it if you would leave comments/feedbacks so that we can improve on the quality of the lessons to benefit
everyone learning the guitar.
Lastly and most importantly, have FUN on beginning your musical journey and enjoy playing the guitar…
